Who is Bright Mic

HI im Shaleena the owner of Bright Mic. As a professionally trained vocalist, my versatility and dynamic range, allows me to perform a

wide repertoire.

After learning the key to holding the audiences attention is through great storytelling either in song or as a

presenter /stage/screen actor i decided to create a brand that could umbrella all the creative projects i now work on outside of my usual vocal work.

In the last year i have performed as a cast member for Fleetwood Macs,  Blue Gum Farm TV, The swinging 20s Gatsby in

Italy, national touring production Good Morning Vietnam and International Meatloaf Show.

Each of these shows have incorporated the work of Bright mic, from Costume design, script writing to creating the entire show.

when I'm not working through Bright Mic you can find me leading well known corporate bands like “Baker Boys” and “Trace”, 

or big budget productions such as Wild goat’s entertainment "007 Goldfinger" and "Groove Elements,"

When I'm not on the stage, you can find me on your TV screens or see me hosting at your next function.

In the last year alone my TV commercials consist of; GalmrDip, Optical Superstore, All Steel Homes and City Cave to hosting corporate events such as the Diamond Awards at Emporium Hotels, as well as multiple weddings. 

My journey is marked by a commitment to hard work and an obsession for my work. 

Ive had extensive training on all multi discipline levels I hold a Bachelor of Music Theatre from the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music, supplemented by rigorous training and multi levels in jazz, tap, ballet. Distinctions in AMEB and Trinity London Music exams for speech and drama, With a foundation in stage and screen acting from NIDA.
